G R A C E God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense Riches At Christ’s Expense amazing. humbling. awe-inspiring. far too much for one mind to ever comprehend in this life and yet there are moments, glimpses, nanosecond-like times when for the fraction of an instant i get it. hospitable church planting

So ages ago I posted this on hospitality and what I was learning about it from Lauren Winner’s book, Mudhouse Sabbath. (I’m still learning.) One of the things she talked about in that chapter was how she felt her apartment just wasn’t right for entertaining well – she had a picnic table in her study…

Meet Happy
Simple Felicity is, at its heart, a blog based on the unshakeable belief that happiness really isn't all that complicated. It's often found in the simplest of things: good food, good books, and good company. So those are the things I write about, along with a few other things that really matter to me, including faith and feminism. A bit about me: My name is Happy. I have an amazing talent for misplacing my keys, a deep appreciation for whomever looked at the coffee bean and thought, "Hey, I wonder what would happen if I roasted this?", and road trips to Michigan are pretty much my favorite.
