Last February, we spent an entire month talking about singleness and the church – discussing various perspectives, misunderstandings, and possible solutions to the loneliness and isolation that singles can sometimes feel within the church. That series saw more traffic than this blog has ever seen, and four of the posts from the series are still my most popular posts to date.
That tells me two things: this is something the church needs to talk about, and there are people who care enough to engage in the conversation. So let’s revisit this, shall we?
The absolute best way to follow the series this year will be heading over to my Facebook page – and be sure to choose “Get Notifications” so you will never miss a post (you can turn on notifications by clicking on the button that says “liked” and selecting it from the drop down menu). There won’t be a new post every day, but I’ll be sharing links to some of my favorite posts from last year as well. I’m also really excited about some of the guest posts coming up over the next couple of weeks, too! There’s going to be pure gold in pretty much all of them.
Another way to be sure that you don’t miss a post is to sign up for my weekly newsletter. It usually comes out on Saturday mornings, and is just a short note from me, along with links to all the posts from the week. There are two super-easy ways to sign up for the newsletter: 1) leave a comment below and check the box that says “add me to your mailing list”; or 2) depending on the device you are using, either look to the top right or scroll to the end of this page, and enter your name and email in the “subscribe for weekly updates” widget.
That’s it for the practical details – so pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and let’s chat! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts over the next few weeks.
