what to do with a leadership #fail

what to do with a leadership #fail

I wish I could tell you this will never happen to you… but leaders, there are going to be times when you completely and utterly biff it.  I’m not talking about those really awkward moments when you forget someone’s name or when somebody on the tech team turns off the lights before you’re offstage and you have…

walking towards the light: some thoughts on Lent and sadness

walking towards the light: some thoughts on Lent and sadness

Forty days in the desert can be a really long time. We fast from something during Lent for forty days because Jesus fasted forty days in the desert, and every year, our reasons for doing it vary.  Some of us fast because it’s just what we do – it’s expected of us, or we always…

Farewell, Guinevere

Farewell, Guinevere

Meet Happy
Simple Felicity is, at its heart, a blog based on the unshakeable belief that happiness really isn't all that complicated. It's often found in the simplest of things: good food, good books, and good company. So those are the things I write about, along with a few other things that really matter to me, including faith and feminism. A bit about me: My name is Happy. I have an amazing talent for misplacing my keys, a deep appreciation for whomever looked at the coffee bean and thought, "Hey, I wonder what would happen if I roasted this?", and road trips to Michigan are pretty much my favorite.
