February seems to be a popular month for this topic, and since the post I’m working on isn’t going to come anywhere close to being finished tonight, I thought I’d share a few other posts I’ve come across recently that I’ve very much appreciated.

1. “Not ANOTHER article on singleness” – on contentment, love, and the importance of laughter.

2. Six (Totally Lame) Reasons Why It’s Good to be Single on Valentine’s Day – because chocolate.  and statistics.  (by the author of the best book on singleness ever)

3. The Gift Of Singleness – ah, satire…  how i love thee.

Happy reading!

(Sidenote: in all honesty, knowing what my day looks like tomorrow, this post I’m working on likely won’t be finished tomorrow either – so look for a double-feature on Friday.  And in the meantime – if you’ve read any fascinating (and/or hilarious) posts on singleness recently, please leave a link in the comments; I’d love to read them!)

Meet Happy
Simple Felicity is, at its heart, a blog based on the unshakeable belief that happiness really isn't all that complicated. It's often found in the simplest of things: good food, good books, and good company. So those are the things I write about, along with a few other things that really matter to me, including faith and feminism. A bit about me: My name is Happy. I have an amazing talent for misplacing my keys, a deep appreciation for whomever looked at the coffee bean and thought, "Hey, I wonder what would happen if I roasted this?", and road trips to Michigan are pretty much my favorite.
