Happy Friday, everyone! I know it’s been a little quiet around here lately, but here are seven quick takes on things I’ve been reading, thinking about, and listening to this week: — 1 — I’m really glad it’s Friday today, because that means tomorrow is Saturday, which means I am going to Michigan!! Which means…
Today’s guest post in our series on singleness and the church is from my friend and fellow-blogger, Jen. Jen is one of the most beautiful people I know, inside and out, and she approaches being single the way she approaches everything else: with a positive attitude, and a heart that looks for the beauty in…
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve talked a fair bit about the drawbacks of online dating. Today’s guest post, written by one of my dearest friends, shares a slightly different perspective: Just over a year ago, I began having a discussion with God about my hopes and dreams for marriage. I’d been talking with…
— 1 — Welcome to this week’s edition of 7 Quick Takes Friday, er… Saturday. Because sometimes Fridays just don’t work out and/or I’m not 100% sure what to post in a timely fashion – and because there’s grace. (And an extended deadline on the link-up. 😉 Thanks, Kelly!) — 2 — True story: instead…
— 1 — It’s been an amazing week here at Simple Felicity. Thank you so much to those of you who have been reading along, sharing posts, and commenting as I’ve relaunched my series on singleness and the church this week. I truly appreciate your support! (If you’re new to Simple Felicity, and that topic…
Simple Felicity is, at its heart, a blog based on the unshakeable belief that happiness really isn't all that complicated. Sometimes finding it can be - but happiness itself is pretty simple, and it's often found in the simplest of things: good food, good books, and good company. So those are the things I write about, along with a few other things that really matter to me, including faith and feminism.
A bit about me: My name is Happy. I have an amazing talent for misplacing my keys, a deep appreciation for whomever looked at the coffee bean and thought, "Hey, I wonder what would happen if I roasted this?", and road trips to Michigan are pretty much my favorite.
